This is a small-medium sized handmade bowl made entirely by hand using the pinching technique. It is a good size for nuts, olives or other snacks.
Once I achieved the overall size and shape of the bowl from pinching the clay, I used some tools to help carve out the foot. It is then glazed inside in a custom cream colour. The speckles on the surface of the clay come from the recycled clay mix and appear after the final glaze firing at 1230 c.
