Brushstroke Vase

A one-off organically formed vase made by hand with the coiling technique. 

Many coils of clay were rolled, layered and blended with each other to form the soft shape of this vase. It was then glazed white and decorated with anthracite oxide brushstrokes. 

It works alone as a decorative object but also looks pretty with a bunch of wild flowers.
