A modern handmade dessert plate, which is the perfect size for a slice of cake. It is made by hand from 2 different coloured stoneware clays.
The clay has been stained with colour pigments in a custom dusty pink. The pink coloured clay and natural coloured clay have been layered up to create a one of a kind piece. This is based on the Japanese nerikomi technique.
Once bisque fired to 960C it is coated in a glossy transparent glaze before the final firing reaching 1230C.
