Coloured Clay Cup Study / Olive #2

A study into pattern making using coloured clay. Hand-built stoneware mug made from cream and olive green clays. The olive green clay has been tinted by hand using oxides. 

Each mug has been hand-built using traditional hand-building techniques, without a mechanical wheel. They have a modern, minimal form and hold a large amount of liquid for tea and coffee lovers. 

Glaze fired at 1240 c.
